We waited for hours and nobody came to serve us, even though there were lots of people. The service was awful, and the food was only okay.

The rooms are fine if all you need is somewhere to sleep, though the bathroom is a bit cramped. Staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, and even packed us a picnic lunch for our early departure. The buffet was good, with a wide choice of typical Portuguese food.

We only ate at the restaurant, and really liked it. The buffet setup is unusual: you can help yourself to as much starter and dessert as you like, plus there are two meat or fish dishes with generous portions. The bacalhau a bras was very good. Service was five-star, with a very pleasant welcome and friendly staff.
