The shared kitchen and dining space was roomy, clean, and had all the equipment we needed. We also loved the thoughtfully decorated room. There’s a nice garden with a grill, probably even better when it’s a little warmer, and groceries and restaurants are just around the corner. We had a great time here.
The bed was excellent, and there’s room to park motorcycles. It’s a practical, quiet place, though a little out of the way, and the kitchen has what you need for several days. I did notice a musty smell and damp-looking patches on some walls. The wall heater wouldn’t be enough in winter.
We stayed here while walking the Rota Vicentina and found it a great place along the route. Guests can use the fully equipped kitchen.
For one night it wasn’t too bad, but at over €100, I thought the room was poor value, especially since the same room, number 1, cost €64 the following day. It’s in a shared house and is just about adequate. There’s no air conditioning, the furniture is a bit dated, the bed squeaks, and the shower curtain hangs from a rusty chain. You can hear a lot through the room, including other guests making breakfast at 6:30 a.m.
I’m torn about this stay. It was the cheapest option in Sagres, but paying €115.43 felt outrageous for what I got: no air conditioning, a shared house, a tiny room, and ants. I can’t really speak to the service, since I only collected the key and left it on the table in the room…
