The location was convenient, near a beach and close to the city center. The staff were helpful and nice, and the pool was okay. There was plenty of parking too. Our corner apartment had several problems, though. The Wi-Fi barely worked, neither the door card nor the key lock worked properly, and the hair dryer hardly blew air. The entrance door and windows didn’t close well, so wind noise from outside was really loud. It definitely wasn’t quiet.

The apartments are comfortable and the setup is nice, with a pretty good location. Parking inside doesn’t fit everyone, but there’s enough space on the street. The soundproofing could be better, though it was okay. The gym equipment needs replacing and updating. There’s a pool, which is probably more useful in summer.

Maria at the front desk was very sweet, and check-in was quick and easy. Everything was ready when we arrived, including a basket of fruit, spices, milk, and orange juice. The room was much bigger than expected and nice for the price, although there were a couple of small cosmetic issues. Praia da Mareta is very close, and there’s a cliff with a beautiful beach overlook about 30 seconds from the property. Sagres is pretty sleepy in the off-season, but it’s a great base for walking around.

The apartment was a good size, with a large kitchen, a fridge that worked well, and plenty of living space, which came in handy because it rained during our stay. We were on the second floor and it was nice and quiet. The location was perfect, too. In the morning I woke up with over 30 bites. I can’t say for certain what caused them, but I’m very suspicious of bed bugs. When I told a staff member, she wasn’t very friendly and showed no compassion or concern. The free basket in the room had a rotten apple and condiments that had already been used.
