The hard part is finding the house, but call Carlos when you reach town and he’ll come meet you and point the way. Once there, you get a comfortable place with generous indoor and outdoor sitting areas and a hilltop view over the cove and beach. Carlos and Lourdes are wonderful hosts, full of interesting conversation and helpful tips, so we hardly wanted to stay in our own space. Their son, who’s a chef, showed off his considerable skills one special evening. They’re opening a restaurant in town in a few weeks, with their daughter helping him run it, and we’re sure it’ll do well. We were sorry to leave our new friends and carry on travelling. Hope we can return soon.

The house is lovely, and the pool is fantastic. The rooms are very high quality, the daily service is really friendly, and the views are amazing. Some of the house equipment needs a bit of maintenance, though.

The welcome was exceptionally warm. The owners really take care of everything, make you feel completely at ease, and do all they can to please. Very hospitable.
