The tee boxes were like cobblestone paths, and there were no fairway maps, so you couldn't tell how far you needed to hit. The course has potential, but the condition was so awful that I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. They really don't seem to care about it. I'd rather give up golf than play here again.

The fairways are full of weeds and dry grass, and the signage is so faded that most of it can't be read. There's no course map on the card, and more than half our shots were blind, from both the tees and the fairways. We've played plenty of mountain courses, but these slopes are practically unplayable, especially when you can't see where the ball rolls. This was arguably my least favourite round in 25 years of golf.

One of the better courses on the Algarve, with fair prices and nice service. The greens and fairways are in very good shape.

Taking a buggy around the layout is frightening, and the course feels downright dangerous. It's in terrible condition, with weeds even in the greens. This is the worst course I've played in Portugal. They should do a lot of work to restore it before charging these rates. I'm afraid there's no redeeming quality here, so stay away.
