The way Maria welcomed us and kept in touch made the stay even nicer. She was a lovely host, and we're already hoping to see her again next year. We said it felt like a second home, and we'd ideally come back for a few months. What makes Apartment W & V special is how comfortable it feels as soon as you enter. It smells pleasant, the kitchen is equipped just like at home, and the bed is super comfortable. Even the small things were covered, from scented sticks and plants to a sewing kit and cotton buds in the bathroom. We travel a lot and have stayed in many Airbnbs around the world, so we don't say this lightly. The location and view are beautiful, and we really enjoyed our wonderful stay. We can highly recommend the apartment. Thank you for being so open, communicative, and friendly.

Restaurants and groceries are a 5-10 minute walk away, and the highway is right nearby, so getting elsewhere on day trips is quick. The accommodation is very nice, with awesome views from every room. It can be a bit loud because of the nearby airport, and fishermen are around all day.

I wish I hadn't booked this Airbnb. Construction noise started early in the morning, with drilling, hammering, and more, and the host hadn't warned us. I feel tricked. I only get a few weeks a year to relax, and that was taken from me. The price was far too high for such a disappointment. At least the fish factory doesn't smell, but after heavy rain the parking space facing the sea smells of sewage. Never again.

We expected a peaceful holiday in Madeira, but the noise made this stay a nightmare. Construction started early and carried on into the evening, with drilling, banging, and shouting just a wall away. It got so bad that we spent most of our time outside to get away from it. The area feels taken over by short-term rentals, apparently all owned by the same person who's trying to turn the building into a huge Airbnb complex. It doesn't feel residential or relaxing. More like a construction site being presented as a holiday rental. We paid far too much for these conditions. If you want a quiet, enjoyable holiday in Madeira, don't book this place. You'll regret it.
