Breakfast is downstairs in the restaurant, with plenty of choice: croissants, small baguettes, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, and other items. The options changed a little from day to day, which was a nice touch for a stay longer than one night. Staff were friendly and helped with practical things, from finding somewhere to park when the hotel lot was full to explaining the island's bus network. The hotel is close to the highway and Santa Cruz centre. Our room was clean, well kept, and nice. The bathroom had a few spots that could use a deeper clean. Beds were firm, but the mattresses felt worn and a bit less comfortable; the linen was good quality.

The rooms were clean, dinner was delicious, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good too, except the coffee was terrible. You can rent a car there. Ours was very basic and could have used a bit more power, but we had no trouble getting around the island. The hotel is near the airport, so planes pass overhead, though it isn't constant traffic. We stayed in December, and the room stayed dry and warm even on rainy days.

We booked this hotel because we were arriving late and wanted somewhere nearby. The rooms are compact but good for a short stay. It's decent, and breakfast wasn't bad, though I didn't enjoy it much. Could just be my preference.

A decent place to sleep if you'll spend your days out traveling. Our basic room was small but manageable. The main problem was the bathroom: a strong silicone smell, and the shower splashed so much water outside that using the room afterward was bothersome. The restaurant's food and service were pretty good for the most part. After we finished eating, though, we were mostly ignored, even when we were sitting at the bar.

The staff made our stay special. They helped us find a very specific souvenir, and even remembered my birthday with a bottle of champagne in our room. Such a lovely surprise after a long day hiking. We also appreciated the flexible breakfast and lunch times, and the takeaway breakfast option was perfect for our early starts to watch the sunrise on hikes. The location is excellent, right by Santa Cruz city center, with restaurants, shops, bars, and a promenade with lovely views. The rooms were very nice, and reception service was excellent. Although the hotel is near the airport and highway, we didn't hear cars. We heard a few planes now and then, but the noise was brief and didn't bother us. We rented a car from an outside company and parked in the hotel spaces. When they were full, the receptionist showed us where else to park. We had an amazing stay at Santa Cruz Village Hotel and will definitely come back to Santa Cruz Hotel Village. Highly recommend it to everyone.
