We stayed for one night while walking the Camino de Santiago, and enjoyed everything. The place is right on the route, which made it a great experience, and the value for money was good. The host was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Everything was clean, and the room was pleasant. The excellent breakfast came with the same warmth and care for cleanliness. The room is rather dated and could do with an update. There’s no elevator, so getting your luggage up to the third floor can be a bit of a struggle. There is air conditioning, a small terrace where we could hang laundry, and a fenced lot where the owner let us park our motorcycles. The owner was very friendly, spoke excellent English, and went out of his way to help us. We had to leave before breakfast time, but he was willing to make us an à la carte breakfast. He also suggested a restaurant just 20 meters from the hotel, where we enjoyed our meal.

This isn’t a luxury hotel, but staying here feels like a luxury. Mr. Nuno’s service and friendliness were excellent, and he was very helpful and let us make use of the hotel. If I’m ever back in the area, this is where I’ll stay.
