Casa Xantarim

The room was clean and comfortable, and the whole guesthouse felt calm and welcoming. What stood out most was its character: lovely traditional furniture and thoughtful details gave it an authentic feel. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone after something with more personality than a standard hotel.

I haven't actually stayed there myself. A friend has been twice and spoke highly of it during his most recent stay, when I picked him up a couple of times. Google Maps asked me to rate the place after I parked outside on those visits, so I based my rating on what my friend told me.

There are several cafés and restaurants close by, though the choices in the city center may be better. Auchan and Lidl are nearby too. Getting to the center takes about 20 minutes on foot, mostly uphill. Our stay was well organized, and Francisco explained the amenities and what was available to us. There’s a two-person balcony and a garden area where you can relax, plus two bathrooms shared by the four rooms and available anytime.

The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable, with shared bathrooms and a kitchen. There was enough hot water, and a washing machine was available if needed. I spent one night there while walking the Camino. The host was accommodating about my early arrival and departure, and understood my dietary needs.
