The restaurant is beautifully decorated, with lots of vintage cooking equipment that I love. I could happily eat there every day, and the staff were super friendly. We had a great chat after breakfast, which was a wonderful continental spread. I’ve only taken off a star because the restaurant was closed for other meals while there were no guests. I completely understand: it’s a lovely place, but they can’t run at full capacity or provide the usual service without people there. It’s a small country town, and like many rural places, it’s struggling because most tourists stay along the coast. The hotel is close to the incredible marveo castle.

A unique boutique hotel, thoughtfully put together with special attention to old handcrafts. It has a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. The owners are very friendly and happy to share tips on exploring the region and its typical traditions. We’ll definitely come back.

A small, homely hotel with lovely hosts who offer personal advice about places to visit. They speak English too. Breakfast was good. The only minor issue was that the room was small, but it had the essentials.
