The gardens and pool are beautiful, and everything felt peaceful. We came as a family of four and had a fabulous stay in the huge house, which could easily fit 10 or more people. The kids had toys, a snooker table, and table tennis to keep them busy. The kitchen had what we needed, and the whole place was very clean. We ate some great food nearby at Casa da Avo and brought our own supplies for the rest of the time. It was such a relaxing break, and we can’t wait to go back.

Even with 32-degree heat outside, the stone house stayed cool. The outdoor space was wonderful, with a pool, sun loungers, green lawn, fruit trees for shade, and two lovely dining areas. It’s a fantastic, authentic place where you can really feel the Portuguese spirit.

A big house that’s ideal for spending time with friends or family, and both the children and adults loved it. Mornings were so peaceful, with birdsong all around. Thank you so much.

The setting made for a gorgeous, relaxing weekend with friends. We were welcomed so warmly, and the host sent us off with a bag of local products as a gift. It felt like a proper escape, not just a weekend away. I’d recommend it a thousand times over!
