We ended up staying longer because of COVID-19 and a few cancelled flights. Afonso was kind and always willing to help whenever we had a question or a problem. His hospitality deserves 5 stars. The Atlantic is nearby, and there's a lovely walking path to an archaeological site, about 30-40 minutes away on foot. Around the area we also found a butcher, a grocery shop, and an amazing bakery. You have to look for the bakery by its nice smell, since it doesn't have a sign. The house has a lovely, unique style, with special touches throughout. The rooms are made for a good night's sleep, and the kitchen has everything needed for a stay. I could imagine living there longer than a few days. Five stars for the house too. It was the best holiday ever, and we'll definitely be back!

The town has a lovely atmosphere, and the apartment's ocean view and dedicated parking space are real bonuses. It was a fantastic base for exploring the island, with a great location and all the necessary amenities in both the kitchen and bedrooms. I recommend an apartment in Maja.

The house is brand new, and we were given a very warm welcome. It's ideal for 4 people. The village is lovely and has all the amenities, with Viola beach a beautiful 4km walk away along a path.

The location is very good, and they're available if any problem comes up. This private house is well managed and maintained, with everything provided, including a welcome gift and a parking space.
