The hostel was excellent, with a roomy, air-conditioned room and areas that were kept clean. There was plenty of parking right in front, and it was only about a 20-minute drive to the water. The price felt high, but everywhere else was expensive too.

I stayed here on February 18 and found it peaceful and welcoming. The facilities were excellent, and the hostel was very clean and well looked after. Staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure guests were comfortable. I'd highly recommend it if you're after a clean, comfortable place to stay.

They have an equipped kitchen and dining room if you want to cook, and free parking is available along the side streets two blocks away. The shared bathroom was always kept clean. The rooms were comfortable and nicely styled, though the hotel itself isn't fancy. There were bathrobes, free espresso, tea and cakes throughout the day, plus a great breakfast. The staff were helpful and service minded.

Everything else was decent, and the place was clean, well put together and good value, with what you need. Two things bothered us. A cleaner opened our door without knocking despite the Do Not Disturb sign, just after 11 a.m., to say checkout was at noon. That wasn't her place to do, and what if we hadn't been dressed? Also, the street-facing rooms need insect screens or some kind of window protection. We couldn't open ours for air without letting bugs in, or because people were walking right outside.
