Tires Guest House

Faustino was a great host. He offered useful ideas for things to do around Lisbon and suggested some good restaurants. We tried three, and they were excellent. He was much better at using Google translator than we were, and he was very accommodating at breakfast, which was good. The room was simple but comfortable. The stay was great, and we'll come back. It took about 20 minutes to reach the airport and other parts of Lisbon. A microwave in the lobby for guests would have been handy, but we managed without one. The towels were a little scratchy, though that didn't affect my rating. A cup of vinegar in the laundry might soften them.

Getting around was easy, with the highway just a minute away, the supermarket a two-minute walk, and Sintra, Lisbon, and the coast nearby. There's also a 24/7 gas station across the street, handy if you smoke or need fuel. The hosts were so sweet and caring. Our room was clean, with nice beds and super-comfy pillows. The private bathroom was clean too, and its hair dryer had a decent range of heat and blowing strengths. Breakfast was varied and included fresh fruit.

Faustino is a friendly guy. It's a basic place, clean and new, with a nice shower and a small continental breakfast.

The shower and toilets have no doors, so there's no privacy. Water also doesn't drain properly while you're showering.
