The staff were friendly and tried to help with our requests, and the rooms had nice decor and comfortable beds. I stayed for two nights at this lovely hotel, in a very peaceful spot that was great for unwinding by one of the two pools. My only suggestion is that staff could explain a bit more about what’s available for breakfast.

The beds were awful, there weren’t enough towels, and the hot shower didn’t work. The rooms were in a mess. I wouldn’t go back.

The broken sauna and worn-down suite were a letdown. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable, and we weren’t told until we arrived that they couldn’t provide the vegan dinner we’d requested. There was just one person running the place that day, doing her best to handle everyone’s needs. When we shared our feedback at checkout, the manager took it unfriendlyly. My husband and I stayed one day at Monte Tons da Terra in September 2021 while hiking the Fisherman's Walk trail. Of the 13 hotels we stayed at, this was the most expensive and by far the most disappointing.
