I slept well. The room had plenty of space, with a table and two chairs, and the mattresses felt just right, neither too firm nor soft. The bed was made of two single mattresses pushed together, which worked well for a couple.

We went two nights without toilet paper. I asked the hotel staff, but they never brought any. Very disappointing.

The room was pleasant and well kept, right in the centre and close to shops and restaurants. The main problem is the bathroom: its walls stop short of the ceiling, leaving the top completely open. If you share the room, you’ll hear and smell everything.

We had the suite in the inner part of the house, with light coming from the roof. It was completely quiet, though not suitable if you want to look outside at the streets. The house has been thoroughly renovated, with lots of vintage details and a high design standard. The landlady, and the other landladies who were available, were very friendly and quick to respond.

The small balcony was lovely, and I really enjoyed the stay. It’s right in the city centre, where live street music woke me up each morning.
