Agro-Turismo Quinta do Pendao

We came to enjoy the calm and quiet, and this place has plenty of both. It's extremely well located, close to everything without needing the car. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by nature, making it a good spot to rest. The place and its excellent pool are lovely, and the rooms are comfortable and spacious, in keeping with the surroundings. Sr. Luís César and D. Sandra are both incredibly kind and available, and do everything to make guests feel at home. Our dog is having a great time too. This is rural tourism, so it has some particular features that differ from hotels. Highly recommended.

We had a car breakdown during our stay, and the owners of Quinta do Pendão were so helpful, recommending a repair shop and supporting us throughout. Thank you! My teenage children and I spent some lovely days there. Our suite was comfortable, nicely decorated and full of light, with access to a beautiful wooden balcony overlooking the Quinta courtyard. We especially enjoyed the excellent breakfasts in the courtyard under the chestnut tree, the pool, and the warm welcome.

The host was exceptionally kind and made us feel at home right away. The atmosphere made us feel like we'd traveled back in time. Everything was clean and tidy, and the pool was good. It's close to the center, with its food and tourist spots. Very good facilities for rural tourism. We'd come back :)

The rustic style was fantastic. Everyone was incredibly friendly. There's a restaurant nearby, about 100 m away, and Poço Azul is 2 or 3 km away for a lovely cool swim. The only real shame was the lack of air conditioning.
