The staff were polite and helpful, and cleaned my room every day, leaving fresh towels and toilet paper. Breakfast was tasty, with a selection of pastries and unlimited coffee from a really good machine. My studio was very clean and had all the essentials: a cooker, fridge, microwave, shower, hair dryer, air conditioning for hot or cold air, and a TV. The hotel is right by Anjos metro, making it easy to get around Lisbon. It's also in the city center, with restaurants and shops an easy walk away. The area felt peaceful and quiet, though I was there in January. I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

The decor is modern and nice, and the hotel itself is well kept. Still, it's in an old building with bad sewage, and the hallway smelled really strong. We bought a deodorizer for our room, which made it more bearable. Some appliances are quite dated, and the bathroom was freezing. We were there in November, and it really needs a heater for winter.

The receptionist and the staff member who helped us change rooms were polite and accommodating, and I appreciated their help. Even so, offering a room like that to guests is unacceptable, and the price was shockingly high for the conditions and service. Putting a bed and shower in a space doesn't make it a proper hotel room. This was one of our worst stays, and I hope other guests don't have to go through it. We arrived around 10 PM and found out check-in was in another building altogether. We had to walk through unfamiliar streets at night without our luggage just to check in, which was a very uncomfortable and unprofessional start. The room we were given, 003, was basically a dark basement, with no proper window, only a small opening into a narrow inner shaft. The dampness and strong mold smell hit us right away and made it feel unhealthy and unwelcoming. At night, there were noises like insects or small pests, and we couldn't sleep peacefully.

The staff were amazing, super friendly, and clearly not responsible for these problems. But the worst part came on our last night, while we were packing. We suddenly saw cockroaches crawling across the floor, coming out of our shopping bags, and even on the mattress. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. The low price doesn't justify these horrible conditions, and it still feels far too expensive for what you get. My advice is to choose somewhere else. Just disgusting. From the moment we arrived, our room had an awful damp, moldy smell. There was visible mold on the walls, and breathing it, let alone sleeping there, felt unhealthy. We tried not to let it spoil our stay, but things kept getting worse. The shower doors were broken, making the bathroom difficult to use, and there was no privacy from the hallway. Gaps at the top and bottom of the bedroom door let every sound through in both directions. The hallway lights kept switching on and off all night, shining through those gaps and making sleep difficult. Our room was in the basement, and we could hear the metro station right by the building entrance. It was extremely loud and made sleeping almost impossible. COCKROACHES IN OUR BED! Absolutely avoid this hotel.

The staff and food were the only good parts. The food was in another building down the street, as was the check-in help desk. There were cockroaches in the rooms and on the stairs. I know there may be a wider infestation problem, but having a proper door from the street would help. The basement rooms smelled awful. On the upper floors, the rooms had no natural light. The window faced a flat wall about a meter away, and it was too loud to leave open for fresh air. I was also worried a bug might come in. There were cracks in the walls, and the room door didn't seal, so light from the corridor showed all around it. The shower doors wouldn't close properly, leaving me with a flooded bathroom every day. The neighborhood didn't feel very safe either, with homeless people right outside the entrance. I don't recommend it. The price doesn't match the standard.
