The walk along the river and the local food were lovely. The owners clearly care about the land and love their work, and we felt welcome straight away. Such a great visit to a beautifully preserved old farm.

The hosts were very warm and friendly. I really enjoyed the organic breakfast and the lovely walk through the vineyards, and it was nice to meet the farm animals too. We had a wonderful stay.

The host was charming, the setting beautiful, and the breakfast excellent, with fantastic organic produce. It's a very rustic place, so it's best suited to people looking for an organic farm stay rather than a clinically modern hotel. Highly recommended.

This was a terrible experience. I ended up needing to find somewhere else to stay for the night in S. Pedro do Sul. I booked through Booking.com using the Pets Allowed filter, and the reservation form clearly said pets were allowed. I've booked this way successfully several times before. When I arrived, the owner told me pets weren't permitted inside and that my dog would have to stay in a locked kennel outside. My dog is elderly, has epilepsy, and needs constant supervision, so that arrangement wasn't suitable. While the owner was telling me this, a large dog on the property was off leash and attacked my leashed dog. The owner did nothing to stop it, and when I tried to separate them, he warned me that his dog might bite people. I tried to keep his dog away from mine while making my way to the car, then had to find different accommodation for the night. The worst accommodation experience I've ever had.
