The owner was especially welcoming and kind, and the breakfasts brought to the room were lovely and tasty. It’s a quiet, clean, cozy hotel with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The shower was excellent and the bed was so comfortable that it was easy to relax. I really enjoyed being here and would gladly return.

The sustainable “container living” idea gives old shipping containers a new purpose, modifying and reusing them to reduce environmental impact while keeping comfort in mind. Sr. João Cruz is always attentive to guests’ well-being, and has turned this industrial surplus into quality tourist accommodation. There’s also a refreshing pool. Breakfast was satisfying and served with care.

The breakfast was the highlight for me, and I’m sure João will laugh when he reads that. I woke up each day looking forward to trying one of the jams with the Portuguese bread I love. The views were breathtaking, and even in cold December weather I enjoyed sitting on the terrace, relaxing and taking in the sights and sounds of nature. The small cabins were charmingly decorated and comfortable for the two of us and our two dogs, with everything we needed. Our dogs had a great time too, and we were lucky to meet some polite guests who were hardly noticeable in the other cabins. We’ll definitely come back!

Peaceful and so quiet, with wonderful kindness and complete availability from Sr.Joao. The pool is a real bonus on warmer days, and breakfast was lovely and fantastic. Once I found out pets were welcome, I had to add another star! I’m definitely coming back. Thanks for everything.
