The house is well furnished and equipped, with a garden and an indoor fireplace. It's surrounded by greenery and fresh air, and ideally placed in the heart of the beautiful Lafões region, close to some of the peninsula's best thermal baths. A great base for exploring the lovely Dão - Lafões region, enjoying its food and wines, or simply resting and taking in the natural beauty.

This place is nowhere near peaceful. Three dogs directly across from the rental bark a lot, especially at night. The house sits on a hill with cars and tractors passing regularly, and the poor soundproofing makes it extremely noisy. A young couple with children lives on the ground floor, adding still more noise. That's understandable, but it wasn't mentioned in the description. There aren't enough dishes, and basic things like corkscrews and scissors are missing. Getting into the garage is a dangerous squeeze because visibility is poor and you have to maneuver around bends and downhill. Check your car's width, since the gate is very narrow. The only good point is that pets are allowed. Cleanliness under the beds and in the drawers also leaves a lot to be desired. It's far from everything, and very close to an industrial chicken farm that gives off unpleasant smells depending on the wind. We're very disappointed. The owner didn't bother to come despite our complaint emails, and the place isn't worth what it costs.

The house is spacious and clean, with a big garden full of grass, trees, and flowers. It's in a quiet spot and has a garage. On the downside, some bulbs were missing in the living room and kitchen, the living room pillows were dirty and had no covers, and the sofa was old and uncomfortable. Everything else was five-star.

Silverio was very friendly, and the house was clean, perfect, and spacious, with a beautifully kept garden. The only fault I could find was the mattress in the bedroom with the en-suite bathroom. Thank you, Silverio!
