The hiking nearby was great, and there are plenty of places to reach with a short drive. We loved the gorgeous house and its beautiful views, too. Our host welcomed us, showed us around, and shared some history about the property and the scenery. It was a magical spot to step away from city stress.
We had a lovely stay. The setting was peaceful, the views and atmosphere were beautiful, and everything was very clean. The host was lovely.

The hosts were genuinely friendly and added a lot to the stay. The house has character, and since we knew we'd be disconnected from the world, that suited us. Everything seems to move more slowly there, sometimes as if time had stopped. It's an experience worth having. I did miss having meal options, especially since they had a good selection of wines and craft beers. The bedroom also got hot at night. Outside, there was no lighting to guide us, so we ended up sipping wine by the light of our phones :)
I only stayed one day because I was just passing through, and I wish I could have stayed longer. It's a lovely spot high in the mountains, ideal for relaxing and forgetting your phone and social media. We sat by the fireplace, shared wine and conversation with some of the locals who stop by, and chatted with Joana, the always kind and attentive host. I slept in the attic, which was cozy and warm.
