My mom and I stayed here and were pleasantly surprised. The room was simple but nice, with a good shower. There was a shared area with a fridge, basic dishes and cutlery, and coffee, including decaf, which was a great extra for us. The service stood out most: they were responsive, flexible, and accommodating. I’d happily book again.

We had a room here for two nights. The house felt a little old, and our room was quite dark, with little natural light, and humid. There’s a living room and a tiny kitchenette for guests to use, plus free parking right beside the house. Sao Roque of Pico port is about a five-minute drive away.

The welcome pastries and free capsule coffee in the morning were the best parts. The rooms themselves were very basic, with no air conditioning or fan, and there was nobody around to help. The beds were rock hard, the pillows felt like cushions, and we even found a cockroach in the bathroom. The walls are paper thin, so you can hear absolutely everything.
