Jose and Eduarda served one of the best meals I've ever had, chatting with us on the terrace all evening as brilliant hosts. The place only has 3-4 tables, so booking ahead is essential. If you enjoy tasting local food and exploring local wines, this is a foodie's paradise. We started with barnacles, fantastic tuna, and different breads. The main was lobster, prawns, and another local crustacean whose name I can't remember, cooked in a sort of jambalaya. Then came three creative, delicious desserts: chocolate mousse, homemade ice cream with berries, and apple tart. It all sounds ordinary, but it definitely wasn't. Excellent ports at the start and end, plus two bottles of excellent wine matched to the main dishes. We're booking again. The meal was magnificent, and the hosts were brilliant, though I'm not sure how anything could top the food. Michelin-starred restaurants should come see what good food and value look like. Possibly the best quality-to-price meal I've ever had. Simply gorgeous. Don't miss this place on your trip.

It's a great, quirky place, but the food is the real draw. If lobster is on the menu, get it. Better yet, let Eduarda guide you through dinner, you're in very safe hands.
