Angélica and Rudolfo are such lovely hosts. They know the area well and gave us great ideas for walks, local nature, and places to visit. You can head straight onto hiking trails from the property, and some wonderful beaches and coastal paths are nearby. The grounds are green and full of plants and birdsong, with a beautiful night sky. There’s a very clean pool that’s ready for a dip any time of year, and plenty of sweet animals to keep you entertained. Monte da Choça’s homes are clean, comfortable, and cosy in the winter, with thoughtful, lovingly chosen decor. It really feels like paradise. I’d recommend it to anyone, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.

We’ve stayed at monte da choca twice now, and it feels like coming home. Rudolfo e Angelica, muito obrigado. The hosts are so friendly, and the houses are lovely and well equipped. There’s loads to do on the property: swim, play ping pong or football, swing, or hike for hours. The cats and dogs might come along on a walk, or just hang out by the pool with you. We’ll definitely come for a third visit!

Rudolpho and Angelica, thank you for making our stay so lovely. The room was warm and welcoming, and after a long day walking the Rota Vincentina, a swim was just what we needed. We appreciated all the extra touches too, and your part in making the Historical Trail and Fisherman's Way such a fantastic tourism option. Wonderful accommodation and hosts. We’ll be back!

A peaceful place to stay, with a super nice, eco-friendly owner. It’s a remodeled old Portuguese house, well suited to couples or families who want quiet without being far from the bustle of Zambujeira.
