The place is quiet and independent, so don't expect a social vibe. Still, it's convenient for hiking trails, coastal spots and several nearby towns, without the bustle. The building felt brand new, with spotless rooms and modern amenities. I also found the well-equipped shared kitchen useful for making meals, especially on a longer stay. The cleaning lady was a gem, keeping everything immaculate and helping out without intruding. Communication with the manager was easy over WhatsApp, and he came in person for check-in. Paying cash instead of using online platforms was simple too. A solid choice for a relaxed few days or even weeks, whether traveling solo or as a couple. 4.5/5 stars.

The area was beautiful, and I was lucky to have such lovely weather during my stay. Inside the apartment, the temperature was comfortable enough that I didn't need the air conditioning. The place was cozy and had everything I needed. I also appreciated the thoughtful water and delicious Madeiran cookies the hosts left for me. I had a very pleasant stay and would love to return.

We'd love to come back. The landlord was easy to reach, and despite the exceptional circumstances, extremely accommodating. The building is modern and well equipped, with stylish furniture and good technology. Our new room was in excellent condition, with air conditioning, a TV and a refrigerator. The bathroom was a good size and had everything we needed, including a hairdryer. Guests can use the shared kitchen and common room, and the kitchen has all the necessary supplies. Self check-in was simple, and our keys were ready in the designated boxes before the specified pickup time. ☺️

We had a great week here, and I think we'll be back. The host was very nice and polite, and communication was really efficient. The room was lovely, well maintained and looked out over the mountains. The kitchen was clean, had a dishwasher, and was stocked with cooking utensils. A lady changed our towels daily. I also liked the bathroom, especially the hairdryer, which was a big plus for me. Definitely recommendable.
