The location was the one good thing, along with the friendly owner and the woman who handed over the key. I certainly won’t stay here again. The house is very old, and the cleaning wasn’t good enough. The rugs and sofas were really dirty, and the bedrooms smelled strongly of damp. The beds had summer sheets, and the house was freezing, with no heating system, just three heaters. If they were all on, the breaker tripped, so we had to turn off the boilers to use the heaters. There was no hot water for showers on the first floor because the breaker kept tripping. The spring mattresses were extremely uncomfortable.

The river beach nearby is beautiful, and the house is so quiet we slept like nothing else mattered. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, so we didn't have to bring any utensils. The owners welcomed me warmly, and I’m very grateful to them. I won't forget to come back.

We loved it. The place feels authentic, and you can really sense its history. It was very clean and had everything we needed, plus a little more. The people were warm, and Sr. Miguel was so attentive that you take to him right away.
