The one real drawback was a sewer smell that sometimes got quite strong and spread through the house from the bathroom. The bathroom could also use a bit more care with cleaning, and a colander for draining vegetables or pasta would be handy. Still, the house has everything for a great stay, the internet works well, and the owners are easy to reach. Check-in and check-out were simple. It’s right in the center of Sabugueiro, with a supermarket and café next door. Since it’s by the road, there’s naturally some traffic, including at night. I’d still recommend it.

The location, surrounded by nature, was spectacular, and staying here with our two dogs was a wonderful experience. The studio had everything we needed, with a kitchen and dining area, a bedroom, and a bathroom. The village river pool also welcomes pets. Congratulations to the family for the great accommodation and service. We’ll definitely be back.

The house was spacious, welcoming, and had everything we needed. It was all very clean and tidy, with a lovely scent from the lavender thoughtfully left in the closets and on the bedroom tables. Even the towels smelled fresh. The lady who welcomed us was so kind and attentive. Across the street, the bakery lady was lovely too. The bread we bought there was delicious, and when she kindly asked whether she sold salt, she gave us some for free.

Sra Luísa is such a sweetheart. The house was clean and really comfortable, just right for a retreat in the Serra. Everything was impeccable. I highly recommend it.
