Native Adventure Hostel

The photos and the supposed cool atmosphere bear no resemblance to the place. The house was so disgusting that we couldn’t stay inside; we ate outdoors and spent as much time as possible at the beach just to get through the stay. It’s incredibly dirty and completely neglected. The bathrooms are unsanitary, and sewage spills into the garden. The pool doesn’t work, despite Sandro swearing it does before you arrive. The manager is a liar and a thief who’ll try to get more money from you whenever he can. Don’t rent this place. Run away.

The apartment was filthy and nothing like the photos. Since we’d already paid and couldn’t afford to go anywhere else, we had to clean it ourselves. We ran out of hot water, and nobody came to replace it. We called the owner, but he didn’t show up or even appear, let alone fix anything. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Beware.

The garden smells like a septic tank, and the pool is a duck pond. The house is extremely dirty and feels abandoned. What a shame. The owner is a thief, and this is a scam. Don’t set foot inside.

We’ll definitely come back. The hostel was lovely and really clean, with lovely owners. It’s in a very quiet, safe area, about 20 minutes from Lisbon by car.
