Breakfast’s homemade cakes were the best part for me. The host was also very accommodating, waiting late to check me in after heavy rain slowed the traffic from where I was coming from. I had a peaceful, relaxing stay in the rural town of Tabosa. The room was spotless and the property well maintained. It’s a great base for exploring Viseu, and a nice way to get away from the crowds in Lisbon and Porto.

The staff were lovely, and the amenities were great. Our rooms were cleaned every day, which I hadn’t expected. Breakfast was included, but our team was here for orienteering training and we had to leave early each day, so the hostess packed it in a basket for us the night before. I’d love to return for a holiday on my own time.

The staff were so friendly, and breakfast was delicious, with homemade cakes and freshly squeezed orange juice. The house itself is lovely, with modern decor and big, comfortable beds. Everything was perfect during our stay.

We booked a two bedroom house and had a wonderful stay. It was spacious but still cozy, with lovely architecture and everything clean and tidy. When we arrived, the fireplace was already lit. Breakfast was brought to our kitchen at the time we’d agreed. We’ll definitely be back.

The garden is beautiful and full of flowers, with countryside views, a pool, and somewhere to sit and unwind. There are lovely villages, churches, and castles nearby, as well as a river and lake. Vila Ponte also has a wooden walking path and a beach. We had a great stay. The host and staff were very friendly and helpful, and our room was excellent and really clean.
