Lograssol is a tiny village with nothing there, so you'll need a car to get around. Luso is about a 10-minute drive away, with restaurants, a spa, and Bussaco national forest. The hotel itself is a peaceful little escape, and the clean rooms and well-kept facilities made it easy to relax for a few days. Breakfast was wonderful, and I can't think of anything to complain about. It's one of those rare places I'd happily come back to.

Getting there is easier by car since the hotel is away from the usual route. The owner turned an old family property into such a welcoming place for travelers on our family's Portuguese Camino trip. The woman who greeted us was incredibly kind and went out of her way to help with whatever we needed. We had a beautiful, wonderful stay.

Dra Cristina was such a wonderful host. Everything felt new, the area was great for resting, and the food and cleanliness were both five-star. We also loved the beautiful swimming pool.
