The food, service, and atmosphere at the New Year's Eve dinner and celebration were the worst I've experienced for such an occasion anywhere. We had booked as a party, and the whole thing was a disaster. Charging 140 euros per person for that shambles was shameful. If this is the usual standard, I'd strongly advise people to stay away. I'm 82, a former hotelier, and have travelled around the world, so I know what I'm talking about. Glenn, an Algarve resident.

The bar was a welcome spot to gather, with plenty of light bites to choose from, and the on-site restaurant had some excellent options as well. The hotel itself is clean and freshly decorated. It's also an easy walk to the castle, aqueduct, markets, and lots of restaurants.

We were running late for a wedding, and the team at Serpa Hotel really came through for us. They hurried our check-in along with a smile so we could make it on time, and their willingness to help made our day. The stay itself was comfortable and enjoyable, and the service was excellent. Serpa Hotel clearly cares about its guests.

I really liked the place. The mix of historic and rustic style looks beautiful, and there are several spots with great views for taking photos. The staff were very attentive.

A charming four-star hotel in central Serpa, with Alentejo-style decor and a relaxed feel. It has plenty of facilities, including a spa and swimming pool. A good choice for a short getaway, and try the food at the Restaurant.
