Casal da Cortiçada

It was my first stay at this rural hotel, and I enjoyed visiting in the off season. The garden is lovely, there's a pool and parking, and I'd recommend the place.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were always cheerful and available, and the room was spotless, with that fresh, just-washed smell. Breakfast was very good, too. The pool was great for a swim and some sun on a lounger, and there are several lovely river beaches around 20-30 minutes away if you want to switch between the pool and being out in nature. We chose this place for a quiet, restful break, and it suited us well. There's no big entertainment scene or usual crowds, and nearby Sertã is a peaceful little town with little tourist activity. The accommodation has everything you need to prepare meals or bring food along, so you don't have to pay to eat out every time. Thank you, we had a great time.

It was a family-style, very pleasant and peaceful stay for three nights. After a scorching day at work, it was a relief to unwind. Even with 37° outside, the room stayed cool without needing to turn on the available air conditioning. Breakfast had lots of good choices. I loved it and will definitely come back.

A lovely rustic spot for two or three days, with a pleasant garden and pool. It’s in a very quiet village, just five minutes from Sertã, and the included breakfast is really good with plenty to choose from. The rooms have air conditioning and a hairdryer, though no TV. The main downside was hearing guests upstairs walking around, since the floor is wood and there's only a false ceiling for insulation. I also think blackout curtains would help keep the morning light out. Apart from those things, I had a very nice stay.
