The accommodation is cosy, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and reception was excellent. No problems there. The noise was another story. I know people's manners come from home and aren't the accommodation's responsibility, but being woken at 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. by other guests talking loudly, singing, and slamming doors was awful. They might as well have been banging pots and pans. It's a huge lack of respect and consideration for anyone trying to rest. They should keep a bit more control over this or set some kind of rules.

On the 5th of this month, I stayed at your hotel with a group of 11. When I booked, nobody explained that some rooms cost more than others. I simply asked for separate beds, and was told there was availability in your house behind the hotel. I trusted that, booked and paid, but wasn't told those rooms were inferior. After hearing all the complaints from my group, I can only say the rooms we got were terrible. Hygiene was awful: dust covered all the headboards, the bedspread was dirty, and there was hair in the showers. The door handles were coming off, and the doors made a huge noise when opened. Once shut, there was a gap of over a centimetre under my room door, letting light in easily. The rooms were tiny, with damp-blackened walls. Some people had to sleep in a bed underneath a stairwell, and one bathroom was so cramped you could hardly stand up to shower. I called your employee to see the dust in my own room, so she saw it herself. The phones in the rooms had cut wires, so how is anyone meant to call in an emergency? After lifting the toilet lid in my room, I found pubic hairs on the back of the seat. Everyone complained about the general lack of cleanliness. You need someone with the skills and knowledge to lead a cleaning team.

The room was small but cosy. The lack of sound insulation was a problem, though. I could hear people coming in and going up the stairs, and there was also a water leak from the neighbour upstairs.

We booked through this website, which also belongs to the Square Hotel next door, and that's where we stayed. The room was clean, well equipped, and great for the price. Daniela at reception was fantastic, and the breakfast buffet was superb. The free motorcycle parking is available until today, which was exactly what I needed.
