Good morning. This storm really shows how much needs attention in this park. The maintenance hasn’t been done properly: some pine trees have gone years without care. Other campsites carry out the upkeep needed to prevent damage like this. Without maintenance, trees in these areas could kill people.

As someone who camps very often across Europe, especially in Portugal, I’d honestly say you’d be better off sleeping in your car. The camping area is tiny, and the bathrooms are so filthy that I lost all desire to shower. I could list more problems. I’d planned to stay a week but left after one night. I was too tired to drive any further that day, so I stayed only for that reason. When I arrived, a couple was checking out and making a complaint. They said the conditions were terrible and that their child had cut a toe on a shard of glass in the pool. Reception staff told me they were overreacting. They weren’t. I really don’t understand how the average score was 3.8.

Andreia and the Brazilian Colleague would be a real plus on any team of mine. The Manager was also always ready to help us with any issue. At the cafe and restaurant, everyone was keen to help and please guests. It’s a lovely place to enjoy the sun and relax around the clock. The people are great, and the customer service comes with a smile. Well done to everyone.

The reception staff are nice, and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. There’s a supermarket and a swimming pool, and hot water in the baths, but they weren’t clean. The camping and van area feels abandoned and chaotic, and there isn’t a good WC nearby. It seems more set up for people who stay in the bungalows all year. For a 1-2 day stop with a van or tent, the location is convenient and everyone working there is nice. It is a bit expensive compared with other places.

I paid 8.50 euro for a night without a vehicle and pitched my small tent in a spot away from the campers and bungalows. The receptionist was quite friendly and gave me a card so I could enter the site like a car. It’s a cheap, simple campsite beside a forest and close to lidl. There’s also a pool, restaurant, and supermarket. If you just need somewhere to sleep, I can recommend it.
