Casa Sesimbra has a great location, lovely penthouse views, and plenty of original details that make the place quirky and fun. The owner communicated well. We enjoyed the cozy feel, though some expected basics were missing: there was no coffee machine or hair dryer, no shelf in the shower for toiletries, and only body wash, without shampoo or conditioner. Add those small things and it would be a five star stay. It’s a good fit if you want a comfortable spot in a prime location without lots of extras.

After a week in Lisbon, we wanted a few quiet days near the beach, and Casa Sesimbra was just right. The apartment was cute and comfortable, right in the center near restaurants and the beach. We even cooked dinner there one night and had a lovely evening at home. Thanks for such a restful, pleasant stay in a great little place.

Christina was a fantastic host and shared her favorite restaurants, bars, and sightseeing spots. The whole building suited our extended family of three couples, with three apartments that were just as pictured, charmingly decorated, and brightened with fresh flowers. We found everything we needed for a few nights, including comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms, strong water pressure, and very clean spaces. The beach was only two blocks away. August was lively, but the neighborhood itself stayed quiet. Booking was quick and easy, and we made wonderful memories. We all want to return next year. Thank you, Christina and Michael!

The spacious penthouse on the top floor was in a great spot and easy to get to. If I have to find something to complain about, the weather was almost too lovely for early October, and the seagulls were very loud on my last morning as I was leaving.

I came back in October and booked the studio with the large balcony, which I made good use of. I had another very happy stay and would recommend Casa Sesimbra to anyone who enjoys the feel of an original Portuguese casa. On my first visit, I loved Sesimbra, a very nice town, and found the apartments beautifully decorated with everything needed even for a longer stay. The location is hard to beat, with the beach, cafes, restaurants, bakery, and market just around the corner. I’ll gladly come again.
