I’ve been coming to Casal do Frade for several years, and it’s a spectacular place for a vacation. The owners are thoughtful and kind, always trying to give five-star service, and the staff are helpful and friendly. There are several food options, too. It’s surrounded by nature, welcomes pets, and has a great pool area. Such a relaxed place to recharge and enjoy a peaceful break. Five stars don’t feel like enough, I wish I could give more.

A peaceful retreat with a stunning, quiet pool and several cozy spots to relax. Breakfast is varied and homemade. It’s also close to the wonderful Parque Natural da Arrabida. I’d certainly recommend it!

For the last ten years, we’ve visited Casal Do Frade every year, and we hope to keep doing so whenever we make the trip from the States to Portugal. It’s set on the scenic edge of "Parque Natural da Arrabida" and close to a beautiful beach in Mecco. The warm staff treat guests like family, and we always look forward to the lovely breakfast buffet each morning.
