The bungalows were quiet and close to the toilets, and the bathrooms stayed clean and mostly empty since most visitors had mobile homes. Our corner unit also had a bit of extra space screened by bushes. There were two toilet rolls, and hot shower water was free for us, while regular campers pay 0,50€ for a six-minute warm shower. The location worked well for our trip, and the staff were kind and understanding. The first receptionist couldn’t tell us much, but another person showed us around and kindly brought over a few things that were missing. Inside, though, we expected more space and comfort, especially from the beds. The bungalow’s rounded sides were easy to bump into while lying down. We also thought having a TV in this kind of accommodation was unnecessary, though I suppose that’s not really management’s fault given how dependent we all are on screens. For us, it was a different experience, but not worth the money.

We paid 20€ for one night with two people and a dog in our Ford Camper Bus, without electricity since we have solar. It’s a very basic campsite, and the sanitary rooms are old but clean. There was no soap or toilet paper, something we’ve got used to in Spain and Portugal. Reception was very helpful. The shower costs 50 cents for six minutes, but we didn’t use it, so I can’t say what it’s like. A very beautiful beach is about a 30-minute walk away, mostly past local houses and pine trees. It was a good place to stop overnight.

The people at Petiscaki bar/restaurant were smoking cigarettes in the kitchen, which is a huge no-go. I also saw them renting out a friend’s tent while he wasn’t at the park, yet he was still billed every month and paid for the renters’ water and electricity. That’s unacceptable. They take money wherever they can but don’t put it back into the place. Sell the park or change the management team.

We were given a tiny, stony plot where it was impossible to pitch our tent properly. Noise kept us awake through the night. The campground was ridiculous.

The bungalow was very clean, but the shower and toilet facilities are extremely basic. At 50€ for a bungalow with only beds, it felt like too much.
