RM The Loft Experience

We had a very disappointing stay and wouldn't come back. The loft was outside the city, which we hadn't been told. The confirmation email didn't include the correct address, and we were disappointed to learn it wasn't in town. We expected cafes, restaurants, and the sea nearby, but there was only a McDonald's and a supermarket across from the building. It's on the third floor with no elevator, so pack light. The website says the last floor has no elevator, which suggests the other floors do, but the loft is on that top floor and there is no elevator at all. The shower and water cooker were covered in caulk and dirt. When we complained, Catarina at reception seemed apologetic and tried to help, but nothing came of it. Someone checked the dirt and said it would be cleaned the next day, but it wasn't. They didn't empty the trash bin either. We also found 2 vacutainer tubes for blood collection beside the couch pillows, which made us feel the apartment hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. The apartment has a washing machine, but there was no detergent. The AC is outside the room, making it hard to control the temperature in the rooms. The bathroom door was also loud and squeaky.
