Casa Alegre XI, Overlooking Sintra

Communication with the person in charge was excellent and quick. The house was very pleasant, with comfortable bedrooms, a well-decorated and equipped kitchen and bathroom, and natural light throughout. The windows in the living room and kitchen give you a great view. We'd love to come back. Congratulations!

My flight was unexpectedly cancelled, so I told the hotel 15 days ahead that I couldn't make it to the accommodation. They still refused to reimburse me. I'm extremely disappointed by how they handled an unforeseen situation, with so little understanding or flexibility. We won't return, and I strongly advise travelers against staying here.

Parking took some effort because the street has quite a steep slope, but the place is close to all the essentials and not far from the historic center. We had an excellent summer stay last year. We were warmly welcomed, and the house felt cozy and nicely finished. The kitchen was spotless, the bathroom had been renovated, and the bedrooms stayed cool. Great place!

A great place, especially for its cleanliness, heating system, and sound insulation from the double-glazed windows.
