It’s an easy walk into the village, where there are several good restaurants. Just north of Sintra, the location also works really well for walks and outings. The rooms in this picturesque house are comfortable, and the lady who runs it speaks several languages and is a pleasure to chat with.
Breakfast was just perfect, and my room was great, really spacious too. The lady who runs the house is very friendly and happy to share tips and local knowledge. The Casa sits a little outside town, which didn’t bother me since I had a rental car. I could park for free right outside.
We’ll definitely come back. Isabel was a wonderful host, and the place is ideally situated for exploring by car, away from Sintra’s busy areas. Absolutely perfect.
A lovely spot for getting away from Sintra’s bustle. The owner is charming and very friendly, the house has lovely little corners and a magnificent living room, and breakfast was wonderful.
A charming place with a pleasant atmosphere. Our room was simple, comfortable, and clean, and the owner made an excellent breakfast. It’s best suited to people who like dogs, since she has two lovely ones.
