Casa do Valle

The room was lovely and had an amazing view, and breakfast was fantastic. Quinta da Regaleira and Palácio Nacional de Sintra are both not far away. I loved everything about my stay.

Every year I come back to this B&B. I love the lovely atmosphere, pretty garden, pool, Finnish sauna, cute rooms, and the amazing breakfast basket brought right to your room.

The location is great, the views are phenomenal, and there’s plenty of street parking nearby. The staff were wonderful, every single one of them, but the room was a different story. Ours was small and outdated, which I could have lived with, except the bed was so hard and uncomfortable that I barely slept either night and woke with a sore back. The bathroom was also very dated, with what looked like possible black mold marks throughout. I woke up stuffy both mornings, then felt better after being outside for a while. We kept the window open to air out the room. The owners need to sort this out. Guests paying decent money shouldn’t have to stay in these conditions. I don’t think we’ll stay here again when we return to Sintra.

We held our team-building event at Casa do Valle, and the setting worked really well for both focused work and relaxing. The peaceful surroundings helped everyone concentrate and get creative. The bright, open “Gaiola” (glass room) was a real highlight. We also enjoyed starting the day with yoga, which helped the team unwind and set a positive mood. Lunch and the coffee break were excellent, with delicious, well-prepared food that suited a corporate retreat. Service ran smoothly throughout. Casa do Valle met and exceeded our expectations, with a well-designed space, great amenities, and a serene location. I’d recommend it for workshops, corporate gatherings, or team-building events.
