1908 Lisboa Hotel

We stayed at 1908 Lisboa twice during our trip, six nights altogether, and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the decor really nice. There was lots to choose from at breakfast, and it was delicious. We’d happily recommend the hotel.

The restaurant and bar are excellent, and the rooms are spacious. I’ve stayed in plenty of four star hotels in different countries and cities, and this one is easily among the best so far. Friendly staff, good room service, a handy location and very reasonable nightly rates make it a great choice for a Lisbon stay with easy access to the city center.

The staff are the reason I’d absolutely stay here again. The location was great, but they were incredibly welcoming and kind when I got very sick on the morning we were due to check out. They let me keep the room as long as I needed to recover, helped my husband find a shop for medicine, and offered to arrange a doctor to come see me if I wanted. I really appreciated how they looked after us.

The hotel and its staff were excellent. The neighborhood feels a bit tired, though there are a couple of nice bars right outside. It’s an easy 10-15 minute walk to the main tourist spots, and staying here means the hotel and local bars cost much less than downtown.
