We spent three nights here and found a beautiful, clean place waiting for us, with fruit, cookies, and coffee in the kitchen. There’s a cute little patio out front, three roomy bedrooms, and a lovely living and dining room. The bathroom was very clean and had first-aid supplies ready if needed. Mario was a wonderful host, kind and really helpful. Whenever we texted with a question about places to go, he replied right away. This is a spectacular place, and I’d stay here again in the near future.

There are great restaurants and a cafe serving pasteis de nata just a two-minute walk away. The house is on a quiet street, within walking distance of the main sights. Mario was a delightful host and shared his love of Sintra with us.

For Portugal’s current tourism market, the nightly rate at this guesthouse is very affordable. What really made my stay, though, was the personal attention: they were so friendly and thoughtful, and it almost felt like being at home. They really put their heart into hosting. Thank you :)
