After a long day, the beds were a welcome place to rest. Each room also has its own bathroom and separate heating. I liked how much open space there was in the living room, and despite the building having once been a water mill, it gets plenty of morning light through the windows throughout the place. There’s another comfortable area by the bedrooms where people can sit together before turning in. Breakfast is served in the morning, with lots of Portuguese options as well as familiar everyday choices. The owner was wonderfully hospitable, and when I wasn’t sure where to go for dinner, he knew the town well enough to point me toward a good restaurant. A lovely stay, and I hope to return.

The converted wine cellar makes a lovely setting for breakfast, which was great. It’s a beautiful B&B, and the owner is very friendly and clearly proud of the place.

Such a peaceful, beautiful spot, with really friendly staff. The rooms and the breakfast and bar service were all excellent. Definitely recommended! 😃👍🏻

We only stayed one night, and Mariana took care of everything. She was wonderful. The house used to be a grain warehouse, and it’s now been turned into six rooms with a lot of taste and practical touches. I’d recommend it for a group of friends.
