Hotel do Campo

We ended up feeling we'd gotten a lot for what we paid at Hotel Do Campo. The buffet breakfast was solid, the staff were friendly, and the balconies and amenities were lovely. We were surprised to find a pool table, indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna and a gym. It's also handy to have a restaurant and market just up the street. Our sea-view room wasn't provided at first. We had to ask to move, and it took until halfway through the trip. The original room only had a sea view if you leaned well over the balcony railing, which felt a bit cheeky. We were also nearly charged double on our bar tabs, though I think that was an honest mistake. The place is beautiful, clean and well cared for, and felt safe, accommodating and quiet. I'd absolutely recommend it.

Quiet, spotless, good value, and a pleasure to stay in. The staff were friendly and keen to help. The snack menu and bar prices were good too.

Getting around the city without a car would've been difficult, so I'm glad we rented one. Everything else made for a fantastic stay: the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated, the staff were very friendly, and everything was clean and well kept. The food was a real highlight, delicious and varied, with every meal tasting high quality and carefully prepared. We'd definitely stay again.

The hotel is out of town, but it has everything you need, and there are plenty of taxis to bring you back for no more than 7 euros. There's also an easy off-road walk into town. The staff are very friendly and helpful. All the rooms have balconies, most with sea views. The rooms are huge, and the pool area is well thought out. There's a pool table and table tennis, and the buffet breakfast and evening meal are very good value. The shower over the bath wouldn't be good for an elderly guest.
