Mr Luis is an excellent host who makes you feel at home. His pride in Quinta das Heredias shows in how he looks after the place and treats his guests. The setting is breathtaking, with amazing views over the Douro hills. Every detail in the home has been chosen exquisitely, and the food and wine left me speechless. A great experience I'll never forget. I definitely recommend it!
Luis is so welcoming and really notices the details. The location is breathtaking, the rooms are excellent, and both the port and wine taste great. There are lots of delicious fresh products to try, and Luis has plenty of tips about the picturesque area nearby.
The host was so kind, and the place is beautiful. Bring your own food!
A peaceful, pleasant place.
A nightmare, cut short to just one night. Getting there was difficult, and there wasn't even water available. The only man at the establishment was rude, then disappeared. He told us we weren't his guests, but Booking's.
