The staff are super friendly and accommodating, and breakfast is simple but tasty and filling. There's also a roof patio with a small pool for an afternoon dip. The rooms are spacious yet cozy, with working AC. I was surprised the hotel only has two stars, as it feels like more. Authentic Tavira hotel is a lovely little hotel, quiet despite being within a short walk of central Tavira.

We loved the breakfast and plan to return. The service felt five-star, with every staff member going out of their way for us. The hotel is lovely and newer, and in our opinion better than some four-star places. We stayed at the end of July, and had a spacious, comfortable bedroom and a lovely rooftop terrace with a small pool.

We stayed from 13 of October 2025 to 22 of October 2025. The hotel was cosy, clean and really nice, and the staff were very kind. I hope it doesn't change too much in a year! One thing that needs fixing: a carpet on the top floor where you come inside from the water-cleaned rooftop, to prevent slipping. I slipped there and now have to see a physiotherapist. 4.5/5, Alex.

The rooftop pool was nice, and the staff were lovely. It's a small hotel close to lots of places in Tavira, with cleaning done every day. I'd stay again when I'm back in Tavira.

We had a triple room for four nights, which gave the two of us a little extra space. The hotel is lovely and newer, and the service was excellent, with staff going above and beyond to make us comfortable. Parking is right beside the hotel, and Pingo Dolce is close by for picking up water, fruit and other shopping. We enjoyed the walk along the river to the Roman Bridge. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, but the food looked fantastic when we saw it in the lobby. My only suggestion is to add brighter bathroom lighting. Otherwise, a wonderful experience.
