Casa da Osga

We stayed in a simple room with air conditioning, and the shared kitchen and lounge had a friendly feel where you could meet the other guests. I think some units may have their own kitchen, though I'm not sure. The pool was the warmest and biggest we used on our holiday, with a shady lawn and lovely views. It feels rustic and laid back, a real place to get away. There's an interesting market up the road worth a look. Pedro was very helpful. The setting is beautiful, and although the motorway and Tavira are nearby, the hills make it feel quiet and secluded. Tavira itself is a lovely town.

Pedro, the host, is a real character and a lovely guy. The setting is stunning, yet Tavira is only about 10 minutes away. I loved it enough to break my usual habit and plan to return next year. It isn't a five-star hotel, but if you want somewhere peaceful, beautiful, and authentic, with a great base for exploring the area, go for it.

A few kilometres outside Tavira, this quiet, peaceful place was just what I needed.

Green hills all around and a great pool. The rooms were very clean, and everything felt perfect. Bring your breakfast in advance so you can eat it under the trees in the lovely garden.
