Our room had a lovely sitting area and a gorgeous private garden. It’s easy to get an Uber into Tavira, too. The hotel feels beautiful and distinctive, with so much care put into the details. The staff were genuinely delightful, and the food was excellent. I’d recommend having dinner there at least one night.

The people here were wonderful, and the breakfasts outside and the home-cooked dinner were both a treat. There were fresh flowers everywhere, the decor was lovely, and the spacious, comfortable room felt like home. The bathroom had all the toiletries, including a delicious perfume that was available to buy, and there was even an umbrella for the beach. A couple of things could be better. The bedroom and bathroom were very dark, and the bedside lamps were too dim for reading. Better lighting in the closet would help too, since it was hard to see in there at night. I liked the idea of the honesty bar, but the prices felt high for Portugal, especially when you’re making your own cocktails. We ended up going into town for drinks and lunch instead. We absolutely loved the hotel, though the nightly price felt a bit high for the area and amenities. It’s a thoughtful boutique hotel in a peaceful setting, and I’d love to return.

We came away feeling wonderfully disconnected, with time to slow down and enjoy the calm. The tasteful decor made everything feel warm and relaxing, and Francisco made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Communication was easy and everything had been taken care of thoughtfully. Both meals were a highlight, with fresh, delicious ingredients at dinner and breakfast. We’d highly recommend staying here on a visit to the Algarve. Thanks again, Francisco!

Quiet, calm and laid-back, with a heated pool that was just great. The design is beautifully Portuguese and clearly very carefully done. Tavira, Cabanas and Santa Luzia are close by, with lovely beaches and really good seafood restaurants. Fly into Faro and head east!
